Virgin Voyages Names Third Ship Resilient Lady

Richard Branson’s Virgin Voyages is naming its third ship, The Resilient Lady. The ship will join Scarlet Lady and Valiant Lady when it debuts in the second half of 2022.
The ship will be the third of four ships currently planned from Virgin, a cruise line that was set to make waves with the highly anticipated debut of Scarlet Lady last March. That debut, and the debut of Valiant Lady, was put on hold by the COVID-19 pandemic and Virgin is now anticipating those ships hitting the water later this year.
Resilient Lady’s debut will be a departure from the plans for the other two ships, both of which are set to debut out of PortMiami. Resilient Lady will instead debut with sailings out of Athens, Greece. The ship will sail a Greek Isles itinerary that includes Santorini, Rhodes, Crete, and an overnight stay in Mykonos, along with an Adriatic itinerary that includes stops in Dubrovnik (a late-night stay), Kotor, Corfu, and Argostoli.
The ship will enter service as a sister ship to Scarlet Lady and Valiant Lady, sporting many of those same headline-grabbing features that made those two ships some of the most exciting upcoming ships set to debut. All three ships will sail with an adults-only policy.
Scarlet Lady, for instance, will come into service with 20-plus eateries with no surcharges, 78 suites with eight different styles, access to a personal assistant that Virgin has dubbed a “Rockstar Coordinator,” the first tattoo studio at sea, an original craft beer, Virgin’s on-demand champagne delivery service, and much more.
The new ship will also offer travel advisors the same opportunity to book guests on a ship with an all-inclusive fare, where every element can be added to the commissionable bottom line.
