Luxury safari operator African Travel, Inc. has launched its 2020 brochure, and for the first time, it includes Canadian pricing.

All South Africa itineraries are available in CAD, and travel advisors can earn 15% commission per booking. All other itineraries are offered only in USD.

There are 30 itineraries featured in the brochure. New journeys include the 11-day adventure in the “land of a thousand hills” on “Discover Rwanda,” stopping in Akagera National Park before continuing on safari to track wild chimpanzees in Nyungwe National Park and the mountain gorillas of Volcanoes National Park; and “Captivating Kenya,” a nine-day safari adventure that explores Kenya’s oldest national park, Nairobi National Park, in search of endangered black and white rhino, with a visit to the Namunyak Wildlife Conservancy.

The 2020 brochure also highlights African Travel’s participation in parent company The Travel Corporation’s non-profit, the TreadRight Foundation. African Travel sponsors micro-enterprises, and community-based tourism initiatives that build positive futures for community members and their families.

For each guest who books an itinerary in East Africa, a contribution is made towards a child’s education in Africa. South Africa booked itineraries support a Cape Town women’s sewing cooperative through African Travel, Inc.’s partnership with Sexy Socks. The colorful, eco-friendly bamboo socks are donated to children in need, and guests also receive a pair.

“We are thrilled to expand our market into Canada to provide more travelers with magical experiences to Africa,” said Sherwin Banda, president of African Travel, Inc. “When advisors in Canada hear us say ‘We Know Africa,’ they can depend on us to help them craft the right African experience for their clients.”

Advisors who book any 2020 African Travel, Inc. brochure itinerary of five-nights or more on new bookings made by Dec. 31, 2019, receive a savings of $400 per couple.
