Amadeus, Fareportal Test New Seat-Sale Technology

Fareportal, which operates the CheapOair and OneTravel websites, is testing new technology for Amadeus that allows customers to book preferred seating on select airline partners through the Amadeus GDS.

Travelers see a real-time view of the available seats along with any additional costs associated with preferred seating.

Fareportal and Amadeus are testing the functionality, which is based on the latest NDC standard, with American Airlines.
