Brussels Airlines this month has added two of travelers’ favorite foods—the iconic Belgian fries (with ketchup or mayo) and Belgian waffles—to its in-flight menu.
The pair will be served on all flights of two hours or more.
The airline says it sees itself as being an ambassador for all things Belgian from the moment customers come on board. It already offers Belgian cheeses and chocolate, and has three aircraft liveries dedicated to Belgian icons: Tintin, surrealist painter Magritte and the Red Devils (Belgium’s national football team).
