CLIA Opens Nominations for Hall of Fame Cruise Industry Awards

Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has opened the nominations for its annual Hall of Fame Cruise Industry Awards.

The awards recognize both individuals and organizations who have made a significant contribution to the cruise industry.

Three awards are up for nomination—Elite Cruise Counselor of the Year, an award that recognized individual agent members who have achieve Elite Cruise Counsellor or Elite Cruise Counsellor Scholar status; Travel Agency Innovator, which is given to a CLIA member who has innovate the industry in promoting cruises and growing their sales; and the Lifetime Achievement Award, which is given to an individual who is an advocate for cruises and made positive contributions to the industry.

“CLIA’s Hall of Fame Awards make it possible for us to highlight individuals who are contributing to the cruise industry in a big way,” said president and CEO Cindy D’Aoust.

The awards will be given out at CLIA’s Cruise360 conference in Fort Lauderdale on April 19.
