Carnival Cruise Line will continue to homeport Carnival Pride in Baltimore through 2018.
Carnival has signed a two year extension to keep the ship in the Maryland port through at least December 2018. The current five-year agreement was set to expire this year.
The new contract includes three one-year extension options.
Pride, which underwent a $500 million renovation in 2014 that included new dining and entertainment offerings, will continue to sail 5- and 13-day Bahamas sailings.
