Delta Expands Sale of Comfort + As Fare
by Michele McDonald /
Delta Air Lines made Comfort + available as a fare for flights on or after Sept. 19 to many Asian and Latin American markets.
Originally called Economy Comfort, the product was introduced as an add-on to an economy fare. Delta began selling Comfort + as a separate cabin class on domestic and Canada flights last November.
Comfort + will not be available as a fare on flights to and between Brazil, Argentina, Peru, and Chile, or on flights to and between China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
Comfort + includes Sky Priority boarding with dedicated overhead bin space; extra legroom; free craft beer, wine and spirits; complimentary snacks; and complimentary premium entertainment on most flights.
