If you have clients sitting on millions of miles, now they can fly privately, at least with Delta Air Lines.
The Atlanta-based airline is expected to announce later today that consumers can redeem SkyMiles for private jet travel with its subsidiary Delta Private Jets. The minimum redemption is 2.5 million miles for a $25,000 jet card. Rates for a light jet start at about $5,500 per hour, so one gets just under five hours of flying, which includes all seats on the plane.
Your clients can also transfer Starwood Preferred Guest and American Express Membership Rewards points to their SkyMiles accounts, providing extra ways if they want to avoid the hassles of commercial airports.
