Delta Vacations' Jennie Ho Gears Up To Meet Customers
by Cheryl Rosen /
Less than a month into her tenure as president of Delta Vacations, Jennie Ho says her long experience at Delta Air Lines is standing her in good stead. In 19 years there, she spent a third of her time in revenue management, a third in customer loyalty and a third in global sales -- and "there's something about making that many moves that prepares you for the next one," she told TMR yesterday.
The key to a successful move is to "communicate with team members, and to focus on the customer, especially the travel-agency customer," she said -- which she surely will be doing this weekend over five solid days of interaction at an upcoming Delta Vacations' top customer recognition event for travel agent partners. She plans to tell attendees that "the business is going well and there are no big shifts in strategy, that we are on a very good path and have worked hard with our travel agent partners to get here, but we are still hoping to be even more transparent and to focus on continuous improvement."
