Disney Cruise Line is temporarily extending its final payment deadline.
For sailings through Sept. 30, Disney is allowing finally payment until 60 days prior for guests in unrestricted stateroom categories. Anyone booked on a sailing through that date who has not yet reached their final payment deadline will be impacted by the move.
Guests will be able to book onboard activities once final payment is made.
Disney is also allowing cancellations closer to the sailing date through that same Sept. 30 deadline.
Disney will allow guests on sailings five nights or shorter to cancel up to 60 days out without a penalty; then up to 45 days out for the deposit; then those 30 days out for 50% of the booking; and then up to 15 days for 75% of the booking.
Those on sailings six nights or more will also be able to cancel up to 60 days out without a penalty; then up to 56 days for the deposit; from 55 up to 30 days for 50% of the booking; and then from 29 to 15 days prior to the booking for 75%.
Those in suites will also be able to cancel up to that 60-day deadline without penalty. From there, they’ll be able to cancel up to 56 days out for 50% of the booking; and then up to 30 days for 75% of the booking.
Disney is currently in the final stages of rolling out Disney Wish, one of the most anticipated cruise ships for 2022.
The first new ship from Disney Cruise Line since Disney Fantasy launched in 2012, Disney Wish will be the first of three new ships. It will have 1,254 staterooms of which 70% will have a balcony and 451 will offer a connecting door.
