Disney officials proposed plans to build a luxury hotel at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA. It would be the first hotel to be built on the property in nearly 20 years.
The 700-room hotel will include a rooftop terrace, a rooftop restaurant, two pools, and a water play area. Officials plan to build it on a 10-acre parking lot located on the west end of the resort, and add a seperate 5,000-space parking structure to compensate.
The resort has three other hotels: Disneyland Hotel, California Grand Hotel and Spa, and Paradise Pier.
If the plans are approved, the project is scheduled to be completed by 2021.
