Expedia Chairman To Speak At GBTA

Barry Diller, chairman of Expedia Inc., will speak at the annual conference of the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) in Boston on Tuesday, July 18.
 
GBTA is hosting its annual convention July 15-19 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, and is expected to draw 7,000 travel professionals. The session with Diller will be moderated by Erik Schatzker, a New York-based correspondent focused on high-profile events and interviews.
 
Diller has a long history in the entertainment industry. He is chairman and senior executive of IAC, the holding company that owns Expedia, and was responsible for the creation of Fox Broadcasting Company and Fox's motion picture operations.
 
Anyone who registers for the GBTA conference by June 13 will receive up to $100 in savings.
