Fathom is offering guests on its seven-day Cuba sailings three new shore excursions starting immediately.
Guests will now be able to visit the former home of Ernest Hemingway and travel to the small village that inspired his The Old Man and the Sea; tour the countryside and small towns outside of Havana; and travel to historic Santiago de Cuba, visiting the grave of Cuban hero Jose Marti.
The Havana and Santiago de Cuba tours cost $69 per person; the visit to Hemingway’s home is $59.
Fathom two weeks ago announced it will sail seven-day cruises to Cuba during the weeks of Oct. 9 and Nov. 6 instead of the originally scheduled cruises to the Dominican Republic. President Tara Russell said Fathom’s Cuba sailings for 2016 are almost sold out and there is “extremely strong demand for 2017.”
