Flight Centre Upgrades Chatbot App For Biz Travelers

Flight Centre Travel Group rolled out Version 2.0 of Sam, a chatbot app that assists business travelers before, during and after their travels with itineraries, gate changes, driving directions, weather, restaurant recommendations and reservations and more. First launched last July for clients of FCM Travel Solutions, Sam 2.0 is available in an android version and to clients of other Flight Centre Travel Group brands.

Sam, which stands for Smart Assistant for Mobile, is an anticipatory interactive app. It is supported on numerous platforms, can be customized to conform to company travel policies and integrated with Certify for expense management. The latest enhancements include the addition of more than 60 detailed city guides and departure gate and baggage claim information as well as improved geo-location directions.
