New York City restaurants and food purveyors will be prominently featured on the September 1, 2017, broadcast of State Plate, a culinary travel series featuring a former American Idol winner.
In the show, Taylor Hicks travels across the United States "on a quest to assemble plates that represent each state's most historic, famous, and tastiest foods," visiting farms, ranches, markets, and festivals. After two seasons, Hicks had documented foods from 36 U.S. states.
In the New York City episode, Hicks visits Union Square Market, Delmonico's restaurant and Eileen's Cheesecake in New York City, and farms in New York State.
The New York episode will air on the INSP network on Friday, September 1, at 8:00 pm Eastern Time.
