Friendly Planet Travel is adding three new Cuba tours to its roster, as travelers’ demand for the island-nation continues to grow.
The tours focus on immersing clients in authentic Cuban experiences, such as accommodations in colonial-style privately owned casas and private cigar-rolling classes at one of Havana's famous cigar factories. The six-day Authentic Havana tour starts at $1,999 per person based on double occupancy, including airfare. The Treasures of Eastern Cuba tour, a seven-day itinerary, starts at $2,899 per person based on double occupancy, including airfare. Bookings made by Nov. 22 can save up to $400.
For a third option, the global tour operator partnered with Celestyal Cruises to launch a Cuba Cruise tour. The eight-day journey visits the indigenous Taíno village, Holguín and Guardalavaca. Prices start at $2,099 per person, based on double occupancy.
