Gran Meliá Puerto Rico To Be Rebranded
by Jessica Montevago /Melia Hotels & Resorts announced the Gran Meliá Puerto Rico will be rebranded as Meliá Coco Beach.
The resort will undergo renovations in various phases throughout 2017. The current food and beverage offerings will be updated and will include a buffet restaurant, a steakhouse and a Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant.
Additionally, 120 rooms will be upgraded to become part of THE LEVEL, the brand’s premium service concept. Six pool garden villas and a lounge will also be added and exclusive to THE LEVEL guests, which have access to a private restaurant for breakfast, check-in and check-out lounge, preferential bookings at restaurants and concierge service.
Meliá Coco Beach will feature a refurbished convention center with state of the art technology suitable for a wide variety of meetings and events slated to open December 2017.
The property will introduce the Romance by Meliá program as well, curated special services and packages designed specifically for wedding receptions and honeymoons.
