Havana Air Debuting First Cuba Direct Booking Service
United States based airline Havana Air will debut the first full automated air reservation system for direct flights to Cuba next year. The system will officially go live Jan. 1, 2016 and will allow travelers to book air travel and submit visa forms for Cuban travel.
Currently, the airline offers flights from its hub in Miami to five Cuban cities—Havana, Camaguey, Santa Clara, Holguin, and Santiago. With the restrictions on Cuban travel from the United States still in place, travelers wanting to use Havana Air will have to meet one of the 12 requirements needed to be allowed to travel to the island nation.
