Hilton Expands Mexico Portfolio


Hilton Worldwide signed nine properties in Mexico, adding to its current portfolio of 45 hotels in the country.

The properties include three of Hilton’s upper upscale brand, Curio A Collection by Hilton: The Fives Downtown Hotel Playa del Carmen, 1970 Hotel Posadas Guadalajara and Zacatecas Centro Historico. It will mark the brand’s debut in the country.

Other hotels in development include Hilton Guadalajara Midtown, Hilton Garden Inn Merida, Hilton Garden Inn Mexico City Santa Fe, Hampton Inn by Hilton Cancun and the dual-branded Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites by Hilton Saltillo.

The properties are slated to open over the course of the next two years.
