Hilton Offers Extras for Additional Fee
Hilton’s DoubleTree brand rolled out a new program last month–guests can purchase extras during their stay. The “Little Extras Upgrade” allows Hilton Worldwide to collect extra revenue, without pushing hidden fees on their guests.
Guests can buy extras like snacks and drinks for an additional $25 to $35 per room, per night. Packages offered include:
Little Extras Snack Bag: Guests receive in-room delivery on a display tray which includes one bag of chips, one candy and one healthy snack, along with two bottles of water, a piece of fruit, two drink vouchers, and in-room Wi-Fi.
Little Extras Refreshment Center: Guests receive 24-hour access to a self-service refreshment center located on the Little Extras Floor(s) with unlimited snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as an in-room premium coffee brewer, and Wi-Fi.
Little Extras Snack Pantry: Guests receive 24-hour access to a self-service area located on the Little Extras Floor(s) with unlimited snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as an in-room premium coffee brewer, and Wi-Fi.
