Holland American Adds BBC Earth Experiences Fleet-Wide

by Daniel McCarthy

BBC Earth production on Kongingsdam.

Holland America is expanding its partnership with BBC Earth Experiences by adding performances and interactive experiences across its fleet.

BBC Earth, which already has a presence on Kongingsdam, Noordam, Rotterdam, Oosterdam, Zuiderdam and Eurodam, will add a number of new programs to each one of Holland America’s ships—besides Prinsendam—by March 2017.

The programs include “Frozen Planet Life,” a concert based on the BBC Earth “Frozen Planet” television experience and “Inside Earth” documentary films.

BBC Earth will install its “What on Earth!” family game show on each ship, giving guests a chance to team up and compete against other cruisers. It will also provide content for Holland America’s junior cruisers with its specially developed “BBC Earth for Club HAL Tweens.”
