House Introduces Resolution to Make Cruise Month Official
Who loves ya? Two members of the U.S. House of Representatives today introduced a bi-partisan resolution to officially recognize October as Cruise Month. The resolution, which would designate October as “Cruise Travel Professional Month” was introduced by Florida’s Carlos Curbelo and Connie Brown. CLIA’s acting CEO Cindy D’Aoust thanked the two for the recognition in a statement, saying, "We greatly value cruise travel specialists, who create memorable vacations for the more than 22 million cruisers each year, and are thrilled to see Congress acknowledge their professionalism."
