India Company Develops Curated Luxury Travel Tours
by Richard D'Ambrosio

Indian destination management company Minar Travels has launched Vilasa Luxury Travel, targeting North American travel agents to help them sell upscale, customizable travel to India.

Vilasa offers culinary, adventure, sports and spiritual tour programs, authentic luxury train and private jet rides, and cruises – such as sailing in a traditional Kettuvalam equipped with the latest luxuries and safety features. It will work with travel agents to customize itineraries for small and large groups.

All fixed programs pay 10% commission on published prices. Customized itineraries are priced at net cost, allowing agents to set their own prices with clients. Minar Travels has been in business since 1992.

Tip of the Day

I think the most successful agents are not the ones loudly worrying about what "they" are doing, but instead are making the choice to change and adapt in order to succeed.
