Tourism to Israel broke records last year, and the country hopes to say the same for 2016.
To that end, the Ministry of Tourism is partnering with members of the local tourism industry on a new project to attract travel agents, tour companies that sell travel to Israel, decision-makers in tourism, and religious leaders to visit Israel and discover its unique attractions. The Ministry will subsidize 30% of flight expenses, from Europe up to 150 Euros, and from the rest of the world up to $500.
To be eligible for these discounts decision-makers must spend at least three nights in Israel. Group organizers can bring up to three groups of up to 15 people each, per trip.
Getting the discount
Applicants must submit a request to the Israeli Government Tourism offices in their country or send an e-mail to Tzvi Lotan at tzvil@tourism.gov.il.
Upon completion of the tour in Israel, applicants must submit a report with all the details to the Israeli Government Tourism offices in their country or the offices in Israel. They will receive payment once the reports are approved.
