The Israel Ministry of Tourism and the Israel Government Tourist Office (IGTO) Canada this week signed a corporate partnership with the Association of Canadian Travel Agents (ACTA), designed to strengthen its relationship with Canada’s travel industry.
Through the partnership, Israel’s Tourism Ministry will help encourage a healthy return to travel for the destination, as well as offering Israel Specialist advisors accreditation and promoting the wide range of experiences Israel has to offer.
“It is fantastic that Israel and ACTA will be working together to educate travel agents across Canada on this very unique and intriguing destination, as well as jointly promoting Israel and the value of working with a professional travel agent when planning for a trip of a lifetime,” said Wendy Paradis, ACTA President.
“With this, Israel continues to increase our investments in the Canadian market as a result of the record tourist numbers of the last three-to-five years and with the Canadian travel industry understanding the potential to Israel,” said Gal Hana, Consul for Tourism, and Director for Canada – Israel Ministry of Tourism.
The partnership also focuses on niches offered by Israel and the revenue that can be generated.
