Isramworld Offers New Lawrence Of Arabia Tour
by Anna Gleksman /Isramworld's new tour in Jordan lets Lawrence of Arabia fans relive the trail that made the iconic movie so famous.
The trail is based on that of T.E. Lawrence, the archeologist, writer, and war hero. Best known for leading Arab fighters in a surprise attack against the Turks in World War I, Lawrence set a trail through the deserts. Guests will stay overnight in a Bedouin tent, ride a 100-year-old steam-engine train across dramatic landscapes, and visit Petra, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, and Wadi Rum (the Valley of the Moon), a designated UNESCO World Heritage site.
The nine-night trip runs from $3,795 per person, based on double occupancy.
"Lawrence of Arabia: The Original Trail" is part of Isramworld’s "Go Where They Wrote," a new series of tours that follow writers with travel-worthy lives and experiences from various time periods.
