It’s going to be a long day for travelers—and you can’t even bring the eggnog through security.
Troubles kicked off yesterday at Los Angeles International Airport, where “a domino effect” of bad news kicked off by stormy weather and high winds caused more than 200 flights to be canceled or hours of delay for travelers. “The airport is at capacity,” said spokeswoman Mary Grady.
By late morning, Denver was reporting delays caused by “issues at three other hub airports,” Phoenix, LA and Las Vegas, had cascaded a mile high.
But at Newark travelers are chilling out by petting comfort dogs provided by Comfort Care Pet Therapy of Morris Plains, NJ.
