MSC Cruises Floats Out Newest Ship Seaview

MSC Cruises took the next step toward another fleet addition on Wednesday when it floated out MSC Seaview, the second of its Seaside class of ships.
Seaview, which is set to arrive in Miami in December 2017 before entering service in June 2018, will mark the third MSC Cruises ship to debut in a year after MSC Meraviglia (June 2017) and MSC Seaside (December 2017).
The ship will mirror Seaside’s dedication to the sun with a “condo on the beach design” and more outdoor space per guest than ever before. It will also sport an outdoor promenade with outdoor shopping and dining.
More than three quarters of the ship’s rooms will be balcony staterooms and a lot of them will offer sun-soaked and covered areas.
When it first enters service, Seaview will sail Mediterranean itineraries with stops in Genoa, Naples, Messina, Valetta, Barcelona and Marseille. The ship will then reposition to Brazil, sailing South American itineraries with calls in Santos, Ilha Grande, Buzios, Porto Belo and Camboriu.
