Marriott International is reflagging Protea Hotels as Protea Hotels by Marriott.

The rebranding includes an updated and modernized logo, as well as the “by Marriott” endorsement to increase brand awareness. Marriott acquired the brand in 2014.

Protea operates hotels in eight African countries with more than 10,000 rooms in its portfolio.
