Memorial Day Travelers to Spend $12.3 Billion
People traveling this Memorial Day weekend are expected to add an average of $330 per person for the U.S. economy, according to a study from the U.S. Travel Association. Overall, travelers are expected to spend $12.3 billion, up 4.9% from last year. The study cites lower gas prices and a healthier U.S. economy as reasons for the increase.
