More Airlines Are Merchandising Through GDSs

A growing number of airlines are using GDS companies’ merchandising platforms
Ukraine International Airlines signed up for Amadeus Airline Ancillary Services, which enables travel agents to sell the carrier’s meals, prepaid bags, and other ancillary services through the Amadeus Selling Platform.
Germania Swiss, which serves 12 European destinations with A319 and A321 aircraft from its base in Zurich, went live with Travelport’s Rich Content & Branding merchandising technology. In addition to showcasing its differentiated products, the carrier can provide tailored offers to individual corporations and travel agencies as well as inclusive and corporate negotiated fares.
