Australis, a small ship ocean cruise line known for its Charles Darwin routes in Chile and Argentina, has announced its new ship, Ventus Australis will begin expedition cruises January 2, 2018, in remote Patagonia. It is now available for booking.
Ventus Australis, Latin for "Southern Wind,” will have 100 cabins, accommodating 210 passengers. The Ventus Australis will follow the path of Charles Darwin on his first voyage to the Americas, before he went to the Galapagos. All-inclusive rates of an Australis cruise start at $1,440 per person, double.
