New York City said it will welcome an all-time record of 60.3 million visitors this year, topping the 60 million visitor mark for the first time ever, and representing the seventh consecutive year of travel and tourism growth for the city.
NYC & Company, the city’s tourism arm, is forecasting New York City will welcome approximately 61.8 million visitors (48.7 million domestic and 13.1 million international) in 2017.
To hit that mark, the Big Apple will be adding “NYC Attractions Week” to its list of marketing programs, like NYC Restaurant Week. During Attractions Week, Jan. 17-Feb. 5, 2017, visitors and locals can receive two-for-one admission for tours, culture and performing arts at more than 70 vendors and venues.
It also is expanding the “See Your City,” “See It for Yourself” and Official NYC Family Ambassador campaigns to further encourage travel during the first quarter and beyond. Agents can visit the NYC & Co website by clicking
