Gaining global recognition in the hospitality industry is one goal of Nobu Hotel's three owners: Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro and Meir Teper. With seven hotels already open, 2018 is anticipated to be year of major growth for the brand with five new hotel openings including their first Mexican property.

Joining the Nobu Hotel portfolio next year will be Nobu Hotel Marbella, Nobu Hotel Riyadh, Nobu Hotel Los Cabos, Nobu Hotel Chicago and Nobu Hotel Barcelona, with an expectaction of growing Nobu Hotels to 15 properties globally by 2020.

The Nobu Hotel Marbella, the brand’s second property in Spain, is scheduled to open in March 2018 and is designed exclusively for adults just as the recently opened sister property in Ibiza earlier this year.Following in the next quarter will be the Nobu Hotel Riyadh is a 23-story glass-panelled skyscraper will with 134 guestrooms and suites.  Nobu’s very first hotel in Mexico will be the 200-room Nobu Hotel Los Cabos with views of the Pacific Ocean. The 119-room Nobu Hotel Chicago will be situated area in Chicago’s west loop; and will open onto Randolph’s famed Restaurant Row. Finally, the 250-room Nobu Hotel Barcelona will also feature a Restaurant and panoramic views from the 23rd floor.
