Norwegian Cruise Line Extends Peace of Mind Policy through November 2020

Norwegian Cruise Line will keep its Peace of Mind policy in place through at least Nov. 30, 2020, the cruise line announced on Monday.
The policy allows guests to cancel up to 48-hours before departure and receive either a full refund or a future cruise credit (FCC) to be used on any new sailing through Dec. 31, 2020. The Peace of Mind policy will be extended for both individual and group bookings.
Norwegian is also offering incentives for sailings booked during the rest of May including a 20% discount on sailings from Oct. 2020 through Dec. 2022 when guests use their FCC; a 5% bonus commission through May 31; free airfare for Alaska, Europe, and Hawaii cruises when booked through May 20; and a Memorial Day sale that offers guests all five of the freestyle offers (drinks, dining, excursions, WiFi, and children sail free) plus $200 in onboard credit.
Norwegian last month suspended all of its sailings through June because of the spread of COVID-19. While there is no timetable as when the line will return to sailing right now, Frank Del Rio said that the line does expect to sail “sometime in 2020.”
