Norwegian Cruise Lines Holdings has named Bob Binder president and CEO of Oceania Cruises and expanded the roles of Norwegian Cruise Line president Andy Stuart and Regent Seven Seas president Jason Montague to include CEO.
The moves were made to “further align our organizational structure with the unique needs of each brand,” said Norwegian Cruise Lines Holdings CEO Frank Del Rio.
Binder will continue to serve as vice chairman of Regent and Oceania, something he’s been doing since 2011. He previously was president of Oceania, from January 2002 until April 2011.
Del Rio said Binder was a “uniquely qualified industry veteran to strengthen and grow the Oceania brand and further enhance its position as the leading upper-premium cruise line.” The moves will bring “focus and dedication” to each brand and help create “even more exceptional vacation experiences across our fleets, strengthening our relationships with our travel partners and optimizing results to position the company for future growth.”
Stuart was appointed president and COO of Norwegian Cruise Line in March 2015 while Montague was named president and COO of Prestige Cruise Holdings in December 2014. Each will be responsible for sales, marketing, passenger service and revenue management.
