by Daniel McCarthy /
Norwegian Cruise Line’s Star, which was towed to Melbourne last week after a propulsion problem, will resume its itinerary tomorrow, February 14.
Norwegian today said the ship is docked in Melbourne and still has full power. When the problems occurred on Friday, all guests were given the option to disembark, and a full refund plus a 50% future cruise credit. Guests that chose to disembark in Melbourne were given a credit of up to $350 per person for a flight to Auckland.
The ship originally departed Sydney on Feb. 6. It is expected to sail its next itinerary, Feb. 18 out of Auckland.
