O'Hare, Midway Flights Grounded After FAA Fire
Flights to and from O'Hare and Midway International Airports in Chicago have been halted following a fire at the FAA's radar facility in the area Friday morning, according to the Chicago Tribune. Authorities say the fire was set intentionally, but terrorism is not a suspected cause. Flights from U.S. airports crossing the Midwest have also been delayed until at least noon EST or cancelled. As of noon EST, Chicago flights are experiencing a more than two hour delay, according to Flight Aware.
