Omni Hotels & Resorts has reopened more than a dozen properties across the U.S. after temporarily suspending operations due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Omni Jacksonville Hotel and Omni Amelia Island Resort in Florida; Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort in South Carolina; Omni Bedford Springs Resort in Pennsylvania; and Omni Hotel at The Battery Atlanta in Georgia have once again opened their doors.
A number of Omin properties in Texas have also reopened, including Omni Austin Hotel Downtown; Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa; Omni La Mansiòn del Rio; Omni Mokara Hotel & Spa; Omni Fort Worth Hotel; and Omni Frisco Hotel.
On Thursday, Colorado’s Omni Interlocken Hotel in Colorado and Arizona’s Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia and Omni Tucson National Resort reopened as well.
Guests who visit one of the newly reopened properties will notice new measures, such as limited contact during the check-in and -out processes.
Omni will have custom menus “focused on quality ingredients that limit contact in kitchen prep,” and attendant-only served buffets or plated meals, receptions, and coffee stations. Omni said all dining tables and chairs, as well as other common furniture, will be disinfected after each guest use.
For Omni’s recreational activities, golf carts will be cleaned after each use and single guest use will be encouraged, pool furniture arranged for proper social distancing, and fitness centers will have limited capacity and equipment will be thoroughly disinfected.
Guest rooms will have an “Omni Safe & Clean” seal of approval sticker after cleaning, which will include enhanced disinfecting of high-touch items. Single-use amenities will be provided in each guest room.
