Travels With Darley, a popular PBS travel program, has entered its second season, featuring the culture and cuisine of Northern England, Wales, Liverpool and Manchester, as well as Hong Kong and Little Rock, Arkansas.
In Northern England and Wales, Darley Newman takes viewers to a castle reminiscent of Downton Abbey, some of the Liverpool sites that inspired The Beatles to write some of their most famous songs, and Europe's fastest zipline.
Accompanying the host in the U.K. is BBC personality Gareth Wyn Jones (known as the "Tweeting farmer") and the real life Calendar Girls, whose nude calendar spawned the 2003 hit film starring Helen Mirren.
In Little Rock, Darley visits the Clinton Presidential Library and Park and tours the Arkansas River Trail by Segway. In Hong Kong, she takes viewers island hopping, visiting the iconic Big Buddha and Po Lin Monastery on Lantau Island, hiking the Dragon's Back Trail, biking the New Territories and sailing to UNESCO sites.
Episodes debut on PBS stations starting this week and on Oct. 31 on CREATE TV.
