Pearl Seas Cruises will sail to Cuba for the first time in the cruise line’s history in January of next year.
The cruise line announced it had secured approval from the Cuban government today and will sail its first Cuban itinerary on January 17, a 10-night sailing on Pearl Mist with stops Havana, Cienfuegos, Trinidad and Santiago de Cuba.
In a statement, vice president of Pearl Seas Cruises Timothy Beebe said that the cruise line is “honored” to be among the first to sail to Cuba and that there is “significant demand” to sail on smaller ships like Pearl Mist.
In total, Pearl Seas will sail 11 Cuban itineraries from January to May of next year—each one 10-nights in length and departing from Fort Lauderdale, FL.
