Regent Seven Seas Previews Excursions for Seven Seas Splendor Inaugural Season

Regent Seven Seas is launching 65 new Mediterranean and Northern Europe excursions that will be available during the inaugural season of its upcoming Seven Seas Splendor.
All the excursions were designed through collaborations with the local tour operators in the region, with many of them being offered for the first time ever, Regent President and CEO Jason Montague said.
The new excursions include “Acoustic Flamenco and the Mines” in Spain, which will allow guests to take a tour and see a flamenco performance in the Agrupa Vicenta mine, a former active mine that was part of the area’s rich industry history that goes back more than 2,000 years to the Carthaginians and Romans.
There is also “A Visit to Ambelonas Wine Estate” in Greece that will take guests to Corfu to sample wines and organic bites before driving to the Ambelonas estate, where they will be led on a tour of the estate’s vineyard by one of the owners and learn about the region’s history of winemaking.
And, in Montenegro, Regent will offer “Mussel Tasting Tour by Speed Boat,” which will take guests through Boka Bay to the islet Our Lady of the Rocks to sample freshwater mussels at a commercial mussel farm.
About half of the 65 new excursions will be offered through Regent’s Free Unlimited Shore Excursions program, which won’t require an extra charge for guests (but the Montenegro mussel tasting tour, for example, is not included and is available for $129 per guest).
The plan, Regent says, is to add the excursions to all of Regent ships sailing Europe in 2021.
Regent Seven Seas will debut the Seven Seas Splendor in February 2020, and it will boast 15 luxurious suite categories.
