Rosewood Hotel Group Announces New Hotel Brand for Business Travelers
by Doug GollanRosewood Hotel Group is adding a new “upscale business hotel with a lifestyle twist” to its growing hotel portfolio, sometime in the next several years.
The hotels, which will open under a new KHOS brand, will have a global footprint but will be “inspired by modern day Asia,” said Robert Cheng, Vice President – Brand Marketing and Communications in announcing the new flag during ILTM in Cannes.
KHOS will be the company’s fourth brand, including New World, Pentahotels and its namesake.
Cheng told a press conference that the way people travel on business has changed and business and personal time are increasingly overlapping. He said KHOS will bring an innovative approach to business centers, lounges and public spaces. Its first hotel locations will be announced next year.
The company currently has 21 Rosewood properties with 17 in the pipeline after also announcing today a new 132-room hotel in Munich. Next year will bring new Rosewood flag properties in Hong Kong, as part of a 55-story waterfront tower in Tsim Sha Tsui, a resort in Montecito, California, plus another resort in Nassau as part of the Baha Mar complex.
