Silversea Cruises Set For First-Ever Pacific Coast Explorations

Silversea Cruises will sail a collection seven new expedition voyages on Silver Explorer in 2018, from the bottom of the Americas to Vancouver and back to San Francisco.
Starting with its Ushuaia to Valparaiso itinerary on February 25, Silversea will sail seven subsequent voyages, each one taking passengers farther up north along the Pacific coast before returning to California.
With a focus on nature, the voyages “offer the modern-day traveler a chance to rediscover the naturally stunning and historically interesting west coast of the Americas," Silversea’s vice president of expedition planning and strategic development Conrad Combrink said.
Highlights include a 10-day Valparaiso to Callao itinerary that showcases the best of South America; a 12-day Fuerte Amador to Puerto Quetzal journey that brings guests into Central American jungles; and an 11-day San Diego to Vancouver voyage through “Jack Kerouac country” where guests will explore national parks and hike along Mount St. Helens.
All guests will enjoy ocean-view suites onboard Silver Explorer, each with a personal butler, free WiFi and all-inclusive pricing.
