by Jessica Montevago /
Small Luxury Hotels of the World added four hotels to its portfolio in new destinations. The properties include two retreats in Iceland, a historic gem in Armenia and an island hide-away in Nicaragua.
Hotel Ranga is located in Sudurland, Iceland, one of the world’s best spots to view the aurora borealis. To highlight its surroundings, the luxury log cabin features glass windows, outdoor geothermal hot tubs with views of the active Hekla volcano, and 51guestrooms with river or volcano views. Iceland’s latest luxury hotel was also added. Each of the Tower Suites Reykjavik’s eight rooms, located on the 20th floor of the high-rise, provides panoramic views of the ocean, Mount Esja and Snæfellsjökull glacier.
