Egypt is deploying a robot submarine in the hunt for wreckage of the EgyptAir plane that crashed in the Mediterranean Sea last week.
Ships and planes searching the area have found debris from the plane. But officials are still searching for the two black boxes that were onboard, hoping will shed some light on what happened. French authorities have confirmed that smoke detectors went off a few minutes before the flight crashed, though they could not determine the cause of the smoke or fire.
Egypt's president Abdel Fattah el-Sisi warned against jumping to conclusions; it will take a least a month before the first official preliminary report is made.
