Thanksgiving Travel to See Highest Since the Recession
For the first time since the recession the holiday period between Nov. 20 and Dec 1. will see a 3% increase in travelers, according to Airlines for America.
The busiest travel days will be Sunday, Nov. 29; Monday, Nov. 30; and Wednesday, Nov. 25. Passenger population will be 1.4 million to 2.7 million.
Orbitz says the Top 10 destinations for Thanksgiving travel are Chicago, Orlando, Los Angeles, New York, Cancun, Las Vegas, Denver, San Francisco, Dallas, and Washington, D.C.
