The Cliff House Maine Reopens After Top-To-Bottom Renovation
Sitting atop Bald Head Cliff on the southern coast of Maine, this iconic New England resort recently reopened after a top-to-bottom renovation of its 132 guest rooms and other public spaces.
The extensive renovation included the resort's restaurants and bars, and added a new 4,300-square-foot ballroom and a 9,000-square-foot full-service spa and fitness center. By next summer, the resort will add an additional 83 guest rooms and suites and a pool for adults only. Also, the hotel will remain open year-round for the first time in its 144-year history.
The Cliff House's signature Tiller Restaurant features a seasonal menu for breakfast, lunch or dinner, while Nubb's Lobster Shack opened this fall, offering Maine lobster rolls, fried clams, raw bar and burgers.
To celebrate the reopening, the resort is offering an exclusive $299/night, two-night minimum Seas the Day Package including welcome cocktails and one complimentary dinner for two at The Tiller Restaurant. The rates are good for reservations through December 22, 2016.
