Travel Bound Names New Sales & Marketing Team
by James Shillinglaw /James Phillips, the new president of FIT-operator Travel Bound, has restructured the company’s sales and marketing team in the United States and Canada.
Phillips, who took over from Elizabeth Crabill earlier this year, said the new structure better reflects the needs of the North American retail travel industry with national account management, strategic account management, and a transformed field-sales management team.
Thomas Ryder has been named head of sales for Travel Bound. He previously served as head of group sales for Kuoni Group Travel Experts and Travel Bound Groups. Ryder brings more than 20 years of experience in the travel industry and has expertise in the areas of sales, marketing, technology and niche travel markets.
Overseeing the field sales management team is Grant Hayes, newly appointed as national field sales manager. Hayes joins Travel Bound from Allianz Global Assistance, where he was regional sales director.
Also new to the strategic accounts unit are strategic sales managers Debbie Donovan and Aimie Johnson, who join from Kuoni Group Travel Experts and Travel Bound Groups, and Michele Keally, who comes from TravelSavers.
