U.S. News & World Report Ranks The Top Travel Rewards Programs Of 2017-18

by Kelly Harold

Marriot Rewards was named the Best Hotel Rewards Program of 2017 by U.S. News & World Report.

After examining 26 loyalty programs, U.S. News & World Report found Marriot Rewards to have the most rewarding perks due to its large number of hotels in popular destinations, free Wi-Fi access and the ability to use its easily earned points toward tickets for sporting events and concerts.

Ranked No. 2, Wyndham Rewards members can easily win a free night, reduced room rates and points through two affiliated credit cards.

Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan was named Best Airline Rewards Program for the third year in a row because travelers can earn miles at a faster pace with its mileage-based earning method.

Delta SkyMiles moved up to the No. 2 spot this year because of its redemption rates and flexible usage of miles for hotels stays, cabin upgrades, experiences and free flights.
